Recently I took a photography trip to the Painted Hills unit of the John Day Fossil Beds National Monument here in Oregon. I have not visited since the spring of 2014. The reason for my photography trip was to try and take new images using a larger megapixel camera. I also wanted a chance to explore the other units within the national monument.
I was happy with my time there and fortunately there were very few people. Everything was so pretty and fresh! I’ve never been to eastern Oregon in early spring so it was fun to check out the area and see all the flowers and green grasses.
I put together a short video of my excursion there on YouTube. While you are there consider subscribing to my channel!
