I needed to use up some vacation time from my college job before embarking on our nomadic travels, so Mike and I decided to go to the California Redwoods. I have always wanted to photograph Rhododendron blooms with fog in the Redwoods. A few of my close photo buds also scheduled some time there so it was fun meeting up with them. I also met a few photographers that I have known for a long time online but never met face to face.
The Redwoods are amazing to see. Growing up in California, I remember my parents taking me and my siblings when I was a kid. I was in awe then and even more so now since I’ve become a photographer. There is nothing like fog, light and big trees!
