Out of Oregon – Out of Chicago’s 3rd Annual Landscape Photography Conference, taking place on the Oregon Coast from October 13-17, 2019. I am excited to be teaching alongside several of my personal favorite landscape photographers, some I call friends.

After my initial redesign of my website, I reevaluated all my WordPress plugins. In 2017 I started using FreshBooks for my online photography business accounting. In this blog post, I talk about why I switched from QuickBooks and how I set up FreshBooks. I think FreshBooks is a pretty affordable solution for photographers.

During the entire month of August, while camp hosting at Smith Rock State Park, park staff were preparing for the influx of visitors that would descend upon the park during the solar eclipse on Monday, August 21st.
We recently traveled to Nevada to visit with my family in Las Vegas. When we pay a visit, we usually stay in Boulder City at Boulder Beach Campground. It's much cheaper to stay out there than in Las Vegas.
