2024 has truly been a memorable year. It started out with a winter trip to Death Valley National Park, California. We made it over to Valley of Fire State Park in Nevada as well. Then spring was all about local until I headed to the United Kingdom for the most incredible experience, immersed in the woodlands during the Bluebell and Wild Garlic blooms from the end of April to mid March.
Sadly, I didn’t get much fall photography in because I broke my arm! I am on the mend after having surgery and am hoping to be fully recovered by spring.
Even though I slacked on posting blogs and putting up videos this year, I plan to be better about it in the new year.
In this post I am only posting my top ten favorite photos from this year. If you are interested in seeing more, head on over to my YouTube channel and view my annual slideshow with all my favorites.
Have a blessed Christmas and Happy New Year!

Top 10 Favorite Photos

I’m so fortunate to live only live fifteen minutes from the Wooden Shoe Tulip Farm. Even though I went to many sunrises and sunsets from here during the season this simple photo is my favorite.

I headed to the United Kingdom the last week in April with my friend Patricia Thomas. It was a wild 15 days of driving through England and a couple of days in Wales. Our goal was to photograph the wild bluebells and garlic in the woodlands. It did not disappoint! Loved seeing Scotney Castle in Turnbridge England.

It’s not surprising that most of my favorite photos are from the United Kingdom. It was such a different landscape than what I am used to and see here in the Pacific Northwest. It felt so magical with the wildflowers, castles and windmills at every place we visited. I hope I can return one day!
