June 30th was my last day of working full time as a web developer for Southwestern Oregon Community College in Coos Bay, Oregon. Prior to working there I had my own freelance web design company for a number of years.
I was hired by 1859 Oregon’s Magazine to take photos of the founder of The Washed Ashore Project in Bandon, Oregon.
The folks at Landscape Photography Magazine contacted me and let me know that they chose me for Photographer of the Week. They featured it on their website and did a short interview.
I needed to use up some vacation time from my college job before embarking on our nomadic travels, so Mike and I decided to go to the California Redwoods.
When spring comes along I’m always anxious to get out and find some beautiful waterfalls. I love waterfalls as they are my favorite thing to photograph in nature.
I enjoy listening to podcasts through iTunes while I process images or when I’m exercising. Of course I listen to music too, but it’s nice to catch up on podcasts when available …
